Breed History

The breed can trace it's history to a research project conducted by Paulo Ruschi in 1985 to research and document standard charactistics of the brazilian street cats. His work discovered surprising similarlties between the street cats in cities across brazil. The project fulfilled its aim to prove that the brazillian street cat had become a unique breed in itself.
